The classroom and seminar buildings have various shapes and sizes which are made from Expanded Polystyrene (EPS). The EPS foam can prevent external heat from entering building therefore reducing air condition power consumption to maintain the low temperature inside the buildings. The EPS foam has exceptional quality such as light and easily shaped without special equipment.

Therefore, using EPS foam will reduce more than 50% for the structure and labor cost during construction.
In addition, EPS foam is water and moisture resistant, fire retardant, strong and beautiful. Apart from foam buildings, the turtle back seminar hall uses natural materials for construction. The roof of the hall is made of Tongtung leaves which can last for 4-5 years.

The road in our college is made of plastic bags to solve the plastic waste problems and reduce carbon emissions. The 2 km road was constructed from 1.7 million waste plastic bags. The plastics bags were shredded to 3-5 mm pieces totaled 2,726 kilograms and mixed with asphaltic concrete according to the job mix formula. The amount of 10% waste plastic bags resulted in the best stability for the flexible pavement. This amount of plastic bags provided the asphalts with 4.7% of air void which complied with the Department of Highways standard. Therefore, the waste plastic road is the model road that uses waste plastic bag with the highest benefits.
